Comment parler de sois sans en écrire un roman et en faisant passer les idées justes…
J’ai 26 ans, j’ai travaillé pendant 5 ans (Start-up, grands groupes, armée de terre, intérims…) avant de reprendre mes études. De part mes expériences, j’ai pu valider un bac + 2 et donc rentrer directement en Licence de commerce à Grenoble, une maîtrise en Economie et Finance faite à Aix-en-Provence et aujourd’hui je fini mon Mastère Spécialisé Entreprendre à L’EM Lyon.
Mais pourquoi me lancer dans la promotion d’artistes… ?
Danseur Hip-hop pendant deux ans… Une mix-tape de Rap enregistrée avec un cousin… Un frère qui Rap… fan de la BD Astérix… Une ouverture on monde de la culture (de l’Opéra aux concerts de Rock, Duub, Rap en passant par les musées) Une envie de changer les choses (innovation, commerce responsable et durable…)
Et vous quel est votre projet professionnel ? Artistique ? Personnel ? Qu'est ce qui vous motive le matin quand vous vous levez? Avez-vous une flamme qui vous habite le matin?

How to speak about me without writing a novel of it and while making pass the right ideas...
I am 26, I had worked during 5 years (Start-up, Multinationals, Army, temporary jobs...) before starting my studies.
With my job experiences, I could validate A Two years of a bachelor and thus go directly in Licence of trade management at Grenoble, a Master in Economy and Finance made in Aix-en-Provence and today I finished my postgraduate in entrepreneurship at EM Lyon Business School.
But why launch me in the artists’ promotion...?
I was a Hip-hop dancer during two years... A mix-tap of Rap recorded with a cousin... A brother who Rap... fan of Astérix... An opening one world of the culture (from the Opera to concerts of Rock, Dub, Rap to museums) a desire for changing the things (innovation, responsible and durable trade...)
And you what’s your professional project? Artistic? Personnel?

Aujourd’hui nous avons rencontré un label de music indépendant : Jarring Effects.
Nous voulons connaître plus en profondeurs les besoins des artistes…. Nous enchaînons donc les rendez-vous pour aller à la rencontre de l’ensemble des gens « du milieu ».
Ce label existe depuis 1998, il produit des groupes, organise un festival et fait de la promotion… Au début, c’était l’histoire d’une bande de potes qui voulaient faire de la musique, et maintenant c’est une des références en électronique… Ils avaient envie de participer ensemble à une belle aventure… De cette envie, de cette volonté d’être maître de leur musique et de tourner, est née cette association.
Au début, c’était simplement pour s’auto-produire (ils avaient un lieu de répét et un studio, grande chance diraient certains…) mais ils ont vite été amené à grandir avec le succès de leurs groupes, désormais de renommée internationale.
Aujourd’hui leur envie, c’est de transmettre cette expérience accumulée et d’aider les autres ayant la même passion. C’est pourquoi récemment, ils ont ouvert un centre de documentation et de formation pour les métiers de la musique, que chacun peut consulter. Une asso complète et riche mais qui fonctionne pourtant beaucoup grâce aux subventions…
Après que notre hôte nous ait parlé de la genèse de la structure, nous avons commencé a entamer une discussion sur les bases de celle que nous cherchons à mettre en place…
Surtout, qu’en pensait-il ????? Notre interlocuteur s’est avéré intéressé par notre projet : Enfin du nouveau dans le secteur de la culture ???
Today we went to see an independent music label: Jarring Effects.
We want to know better the artists needs… That’s why we are having meetings and meetings with anyone who could give us information and advice on our project…
The label we met today was founded in 1998. It produces and promotes groups, organizes a festival… At the beginning it was the story of friends who wanted to have fun with their music and go around the world… Now it’s a famous label in electronic music. They wanted to live together a great adventure… this association was born from their desire, and from their eagerness to keep control of their music.
First they just wanted to produce their bands (they were lucky enough to have somewhere to rehearse and record). But with the immediate success of some of their groups they had to develop, and to learn quickly what the job was of being an international producer and manager.
Today, they want to share their experience built thanks to their exciting story, and help others who share the same passion. That’s why they opened a resource center where we can find lot of information on independent music and related jobs. They also set up training courses in collaboration with organizations in the area: trying to make people work together is one of their values. An interesting and successful association which has to be supported by grants from the state…
Then, after having talked about their structure, we introduced the basis of ours… What was their opinion???? Actually, our host was quite interested in our project.
Everybody has been waiting for that: there we are: soon they’ll be something new in the world of culture !

For a simpler reading, I will publish from now in French and English. For english readers see bottom.
Il est temps de lever un peu le voile sur le projet de création, sans pour autant tout dévoiler. Je vais au fur et à mesure du temps vous apporter des détails.
Nous travaillons sur un projet lié à la promotion d’artiste au sens large du terme (Musiciens, Ecrivains, plasticiens).
Hier avec un ami nous avons rencontré une maison d’édition Lyonnaise. Cette rencontre a été riche de commentaire et de réflexion, le propriétaire de cette maison d’édition qui nous a reçue souhaite nous revoir pour allez plus loin dans la relation (peut être notre premier partenaire), vendredi nous allons en rencontrer une autre.
Nous allons bientôt rencontrer des labels et des groupes et il y a une dizaine de jours j’ai rencontré une peintre.
Entre temps nous affinons notre projet et notre offre.
D’un coté plus ludique, nous allons bientôt vous proposer un roman photo de notre équipe et nos réunions de travail.
Concernant le site internet que nous allons mettre en place, je commence à réfléchir à sa structure, si vous avez des conseils dans la réalisation de site à nous donner n’hésitez pas.

It is time to give a little information on the project, without all revealing.
I’ll go progressively with time to bring details to you.
We work on a project related to the promotion of artist in the broad sense of the term (Musicians, Writers and painters).
Yesterday with a friend we met a publisher form Lyon. This meeting was rich of comment and reflexions, the owner of this publisher which received us wishes to re-examine our project for go further in the relation (can be our first partner).
Friday we will meet another of them.
We soon will meet labels and groups and there is ten days I met a painter.
Meanwhile we refine our project and our offer.
From a dimension funnier, we will propose you a photo novel of our team and our meetings of work.
Concerning our Internet web site that we will set up, I start to reflect on the structure; if you have councils in the realization of site to give us do not hesitate.

An Interesting day…with interesting news…

A beautiful day as this beautiful mountain.
This morning I was supposed to have a presentation in front of camera and a jury of our work (a case of private equity) … Unfortunately our professor was ill…
So, our tutor came to see us and gave us some information about the last 2 months:
We will have Business Angels (one of the biggest European Website), Investors and CEO who will see our Business Plan presentations…
It’s so exciting to know that we will present our project to such important people.
The goal is to help us to build our business as quickly as possible.
In my case it’s really important: in Net economy we should start quickly.
After that I worked with my team and I announced them that I’ll give them part of the future firm (in the case they will not work with me after). It seems to me normal to give them shares, as we have worked together and they have worked on the Business Concept / Model and Business Plan.
Now I’m in Grenoble, this week-end I’ll have some contacts with future clients.
Next week you'll may read some notes of my team and friends... You’ll can discover how it’s to work with me and you’ll can ask them questions about me and how I manage the project.
